How The Queen Would Act If Prince William Decides On A Divorce

The rumor of the Duke of Cambridge's cheating scandal has over the past few months died down. With the excitement of Prince Archie's arrival among other great royal gist, the incident with Rose Hansbury has ceased from the headlines.

Apart from new developments, the lack of proof of an actual affair between the duo has contributed to the end of the rumors. Fans have come to terms with the fact that there either was no affair in the first place or Kate has chosen to ignore the existence of one.

EVEN AFTER THE RUMORS, PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE ARE STILL TOGETHER

Usually, most couples would rather avoid separating as much as possible, and the Cambridges are no exception to this. However, their reason for still being together might not be love alone. It could as well be the Queen.

Before their union, the Queen had given her grandson a stern warning. She told William that she was done with divorces in the royal family, and advised him to think thoroughly before tying the knot with Kate. Little wonder William took so long in waiting before proposing to Kate Middleton. This stern reprimanding might be the reason the Duke and his wife will stay married no matter what comes their way.

IS A SEPARATION IN VIEW FOR THEM?

Despite the several rumors that have surfaced over the years, Will and Kate are still together. The prince has his reasons for staying married. The most primary of them all is that he loves Kate. The Duke of Cambridge has never stopped loving his Duchess, and how far they have come is proof of this.

You would recall that the couple met at the university while they were both schooling at St. Andrews University. Their first meeting was in 2001. They, however, did not start anything romantic until some years later. This was after Will indeed noticed her at a charity event. It is necessary to point out Kate was wearing skimpy lingerie.

Ever since the time their relationship started, they have had their fair share of challenges. It is no news that they broke up a couple of times, and fans were devastated. This earned Kate the title "waity Katy." The fact that William took so long in proposing to Kate is a thing the world is yet to understand.

However, the young prince had his reasons. He was honoring his grandmother's instructions. Prince William knew very well what he wanted of love and marriage. A lifetime commitment was what he wanted, and he was not willing to gamble on. He made sure he was ready by the time he propose to Kate in 2010.

THE ROYAL DIVORCES ARE TOO MUCH FOR QUEEN ELIZABETH II

The Queen, as the supreme head of the Royal family, has great power. One of such is the ability to approve or disapprove of an intending marriage. When it comes to divorce, on the other hand, she has no say in stopping it. At the same time, the Queen also heads the church of England.

This accords her some level of say in what surfaces in the wake of such royal divorces. The results of this are usually quite rough. So far, the royal divorces that have topped the scale on this are three. The first was that of the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret. Then, that of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. The third was probably the most devastating of all.

The world would never forget the circumstances leading to the divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. It is one thing that misrepresented the royal family. This most likely irked the Queen's hatred for divorces.  The ripple effect of each of these royal divorces was too huge emotionally for the Royals to bear, especially when you have to deal with the future Ruler of England being involved in an affair.

THE QUEEN'S ULTIMATE GOAL FOR THE REST OF HER REIGN

On a brighter note, better occurrences have been experienced by the royal family lately. There has been news of births, weddings, and several other events of joy. It is a thing of comfort as well for the Queen to see that the more recent marriages are doing better.

Nevertheless, if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in any way considering a divorce, the Queen cannot veto it. However, it would break her heart. Going by her past opinions and warnings, they have to try to prevent this from happening. It would ensure the preservation of the Queen's regard for them. If at all, it becomes inevitable, the couple can wait until Queen Elizabeth II's reign is over.

AFTERMATH OF THE CHEATING REPORTS

The speculations of the Rose Hanbury and Prince William affair has since died down. This might be to the disappointment of the followers of the royal drama as no royal gave any attention to the rumor. More so is the fact that the Hanburys are close friends and neighbors to the Cambridge royals. Willam and Kate were more concerned about Rose Hanbury.

While the truth of this affair may never be made known, it is the couple's concern on how they choose to handle it. If it happens to be accurate, the decision of how to move on would be left to them. It would be Kate's choice to either forgive her husband and remain in the marriage or otherwise. If this is the case, the public would have to accept this and learn to forgive the Duke as well.
